Daniel Schwabe

I have been fascinated by photography ever since I got my first camera, an Olympus Trip, more than 45 years ago. Being the son of a travel agent, traveling has been a constant in my life.

I combine these two of my passions, traveling and photography, to find unique beautiful images of the world around us. This includes landscapes, as well as man-made things, such as cities and its buildings.

Often, small details around us provide beautiful abstract images, such as reflections - water, windows, metals - that I love to capture.

Behind each image there is a story to be told. Depending on the subject and the sotry, I create color or black and white images, whatever best translates what I'm trying to communicate.

In addition to making the images, I also have a strong background in post processing.

I have won prizes in the Spider Awards, Stark Award and USA Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2014 contests.
